The fight is your brain hating your own body, how did we get to this setting?
A gentle reprieve from the daily grind, emotions that lift you to the sky.
A junkie to others but a son nonetheless, if only you didn't get high.
Your mother is worried for your safety and hers, she cant face the situation alone.
Attacking your demons and humbling yourself, you know that you should be home.
Admitting defeat is a step on the right path, the chance of a fresh new day.
Lots of words need to be spoken, nothing wrong is what you can say.
How can feeling so good only ruin your life, and feeling like crap is the road to better?
But no matter what or who you have become, your mum loves the ghost if you'd let her.
