Forgotten not always, i pick up my feet.
I wander the mind, alone in my heart.
Steady if you look, inside is a jumble.
The sadness begins, while altogether gone.
A smile does wonder, so to a dog and his tail.
Children who laugh, keeps the positive afloat.
The darkness envelopes, but does not invade.
Evening it isn't, the suns rays don't warm.
The tree drops a leaf, the bird in the sky.
Tomorrow never comes, and today always ends.
Silence is golden, although louder right now.
Scattered photo's on the bed, match memories once had.
The sandy beach bluff, rolling of tides.
Whistle the tune, and ride on the bike.
Handle some moments, save a nice gift.
A new life beginning, as you step from the past.
Joyous and content, the fire burns down.
Animals in clouds, moonlight dancing on puddles.
The cat on your lap, drips roll down the glass.
Succulent fruits, and a warm tender hug.
I love the gradual build-up of the mood in this one. How it starts pretty low, and then adds a positive here and there until, in the end, it's really warm and leaves me with a smile on my lips
