Roses at random, from a guy who cares,
He tries to make you smile all day.
You dried them out, kept them at home,
For the next time that he went away.
He's given you more, lots of different types,
The last bunch was bigger than most.
But for all of these gifts, and all of the thoughts,
You be happy if he just made you toast.
I love how this poem captures what is really important in a relationship. Sharing those little, everyday moments. And I especially love how that last line makes me smile :)
